Long weekend “catch-up” sessions feel serious but often collapse under fatigue. A short daily habit is easier to keep and better for memory, because the brain revisits the subject more often.

A simple 20-minute template

1. Minutes 1–3: Closed-book recall of yesterday’s three key points.
2. Minutes 4–14: One focused task (five mixed questions, one short passage, or one worked example rebuilt from memory).
3. Minutes 15–18: Mark and note one specific gap in a single sentence.
4. Minutes 19–20: Write tomorrow’s starting task on a sticky note.

Why the sticky note matters

Starting is the hardest part. When tomorrow’s task is already chosen, you skip the five minutes of deciding and delaying.

Protect the habit

• Same time most days (after school or before dinner).
• Phone in another room for those 20 minutes.
• If you miss a day, restart the next day — do not “make up” with a three-hour guilt session.

Progress in a weak subject is usually consistency, not heroics. Families arranging home tuition in F-10 Islamabad can align tutor sessions with this daily habit so homework is a continuation, not a separate mountain.

Start tonight

Choose the weakest subject. Set a 20-minute timer. Follow the template once. That is enough for day one.
