Mathematics Home Tutors in DHA Phase 3 Islamabad for O Level, A Level & FSc Students

Negative numbers extend the number line so subtraction always has an answer and direction can be recorded.

• Temperature: −3°C is three degrees below zero
• Money: −500 can mean a debt of Rs 500
• Lifts: floor −1 is below ground level

Solving x + 7 = 2 gives x = −5. Without negatives, many equations would have no solution.

Students with Mathematics tutors in DHA Phase 3 Islamabad gain confidence when negatives are tied to number-line moves, not only sign rules.
